Heavy Rain and a Triple Hookup

Heavy rain cut the client trip short, but Lake Lanier was not finished producing fish that day.

After the clients headed home and the weather settled enough to fish safely, Captain Matthew returned to the lake to keep searching. The first areas did not show the activity he wanted, so he kept moving and checking places where striped bass commonly gather during changing weather.

The decision paid off in a river swing connected to deeper water. A mega school of Lake Lanier stripers appeared on the electronics, and the fish were active. Once the baits reached the school, three rods loaded up almost at the same time.
